Profile

Since 2000, Ken Anjyo has been working for OLM Digital, Inc., where he organizes the Research and Development division for making the visual effects and in-house software tools.

He has much enthusiasm in making a variety of digital animation films. For instance, he served as a technical director for the past Pokemon Movies, such as "Pocket Monsters Diamond & Pearl: Dialga vs. Palkia vs. Darkrai" (2007), "Pokemon Ranger and the Prince of the Sea-Manafi" (2006), "Mew and the Wave-Guiding Hero: Lucario" (2005), and TV series "Monkey Turn" "Monkey Turn V" (2004). One of his ongoing projects include making 3DCG animation.

His research interest focuses on construction of the mathematical and computationally tractable models. Most of his research work have been published as international journal papers or at the major computer graphics conferences, such as SIGGRAPH and Eurographics. He is also active for international collaborations on graphics research.

He has served as committee member of leading international conferences, including the ACM SIGGRAPH / Eurographics Symposium on Computer Animation (SCA), International Symposium on Non-photorealistic Animation and Rendering (NPAR) and Pacific Graphics (PG).
